4/12/21 - This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 38 Carbine issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The mum stamp on the receiver is almost entirely in tact, but there is a faint "X" through it. The gun is all matching except for the firing pin and cocking knob. Comes with an original sling. The gun has retained most of its bluing, but there is splotchy discoloration throughout, most noticeable on the barrel and floor plate. The stock is excellent but has been sanded. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
