10/6/20 - This is an all matching and original Nazi-issued K98 that was made in 1944 at the Waffen-Werke Brunn AG factory. Numbers matching throughout include the trigger group, barrel bands, receiver, barrel and bolt group. Stock is correctly unnumbered but 'dot' proofed with Heer Army proof on right side. Bore is shiny with strong rifling but some frost throughout. Excellent original blue on the receiver and bolt, with most of the wear on the bands and trigger group. Stock has various dings and scratches but no major cracks or chips.
