09/03/2024 - For sale is a No1 Mk3 SHTLE made by the Enfield Arsenal in 1915. This rifle is in decent condition overall and it looks like it has seen some heavy use. The metal retains a lot of its bluing but many spots are browning with age. There are also many spots of edge wear and some minor pitting visible on parts like the rear sight base. The rear stock has been replaced sometime in its life. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, and nose cap. The serial number on the foreend is not visible. The bore is bright with great rifling but it looks like either very shallow pitting about 1.5" from the muzzle. There is a 1" crack at the top of the wrist area where the stock meets the receiver and the front sling loop is missing.
