5/29/19 - This is an early example of a Winchester Model 52 target rifle with Lyman Targetspot scope. Production on the model 52 began in 1920, and has been referred to as the King of the .22's, and called one of the "best 50 guns ever made" by Field & Stream. This example was produced in 1925 and retains about 80% of its original blue, with some thinning on the barrel but most finish loss on the trigger assembly and the top of the receiver. Smooth action and strong bore with only minor frost. Very nice, original stock with non-factory checkering. The early Lyman scope is a desirable addition, with crystal clear optics, though one arm of the crosshair is slightly bent but doesn't affect functionality.
