11/13/19 - This is an early variation PPK with the very rare "slab side" magazine. As the name implies, you can see that the finger extension is a solid tan brown color and has a flat slab side on it. This is the FIRST variation of magazine made for the PPK and only issued with the earliest guns. The mag by itself sells for about $400-450. The serial number is reverse. The firing pin is the early enclosed, and it has the 90 degree safety. Early grip has screw going left to right (correct for the early gun). The original finish rates about 94-95%. There is minor holster muzzle wear and small areas of wear on the front strap, tang, and the right side of the slide. Inside the slide is scratched "005". The gun has proper crown N firing proofs. A correct PPK from about 1931.
