4/21/17 - This is a super early Reichsbank Walther PP, with matching magazine.  PP production started at S/N 750,000 - making this the 253rd PP ever manufactured!  These were issued to the bank arsenal where slide numbering and the matching magazine were added.  The original finish rates at about 97%, with minor wear on the left side of the slide near the muzzle, and a  small spot of freckling on the right side of slide near the muzzle.  The magazine is a rare slab-side finger extension with open follower.  Other correct early features found on this pistol include the 90 degree safety, split firing pin, extended barrel and weighted grips.  The right grip panel does have a crack, which is common on the weighted PP grips as the weighted portion pulls away from the edges and can cause these cracks.  Eagle/N proof can be seen on the slide but for unknown reasons it does not appear that the ejection port received this proof.  Mint bore.
