1/16/19 - This is a very nice example of an original military Colt 1911A1 from 1943. The finish rates at ~96% with nearly all finish loss seen on either side of the muzzle, or the edge of the frame where it meets the slide. All proper proofs and inspection markings. Slide is correctly numbered to the frame. Excellent grips. 'R' proofed magazine. Bore has good rifling but minor freckling throughout. Proper Colt barrel.
