11/26/19 - This is a scarce Charles Daly SXS shotgun from the 1910s. It is PRUSSIA marked with Crown/U proofs, and chambered for 20 gauge shells. One barrel is cyl, the other is IM (improved modified). 28 inch barrels with 14.25 inch pull. Von Lengerke & Detmold have two records of receiving the shotgun in the 1910s and 1920s, with records of sale to private customers. The bluing on the barrels shows only minor finish loss, but there is notable patination towards the receiver end, and some oxidation. Nice engraving is present on the receiver. Stock is in very good condition with minor dings and nicks but no major cracks or chips. Bores are excellent.
