10/8/20 - This is an excellent Arisaka Type 99 Bolt Action Rifle, issued to the Japanese military during WW2. It was made in the Kokura Arsenal. The gun is matching except for the cocking knob and firing pin. It is fully functional. Unfortunately, the mum has been ground off and that small area was touched up to match the rest of the gun. The gun is in excellent condition, retaining most of its bluing. The metal parts have rough machining and areas of very light freckling. A few handling marks here and there. Overall, the stock is nice, just typical dings, dents, and scratches throughout. The bore is minty.
