7/9/21 - This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 38 Rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. All numbered parts are matching - the firing pin is un-numbered. It has a fully intact mum stamp on the receiver. The gun has retained most of its bluing with light handling marks here and there. Some light spotty oxidation and thinning on the floor plate and trigger group. It has a nickeled bolt. The stock is excellent. There are minor dings, dents, and scratches throughout. There is a series of noticeable scratches on the right side of the butt stock and a repaired chip on the bottom of the butt stock. The bore has decent rifling with oxidation in the grooves throughout.
