10/24/22 - This is a very nice example of an earlier style ZF 4 K43 scope that includes the original leather scope caps and a Walther scope mount. The assembly also includes a wax paper wrapping. The metal is in overall great condition. There are spots of oxidation here and there as well as general use wear throughout. The left-hand side of the scope is marked "Gw ZF4 65130 K43 ddx." Next to the "ddx." marking is the outline of a triangle symbol. The triangle is blue colored for cold weather use. The right-hand/outer side of the scope mount has a "E/359" Mauser proof mark as well as a "995" serial number. The optic is clean and the reticle is sharp. There are no cracks in the external lenses and no signs of cracks internally. The lens caps are in excellent condition. The leather is good condition and the rivets and stitching are intact. Overall, a great example of a K43 ZF 4 scope with an original mount.
