10/26/21 - This is a scarce SSK90 Luftwaffe Helmet from WW2. These helmets were made with the intention of having a canvas flight hat with headphones being worn underneath. The helmet has ear wells, and features a leather handle on the top of the helmet for easy removal after flight. The Luftwaffe didn't like the look or function of these helmets, so they were only issued in service for 18 days during 1941. The helmet has some mild scuffs on the exterior but is in great shape overall. The interior shows the original tag and has no major issues. Excellent stitching throughout.
