3/6/25 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a very nice black leather hard shell holster and two "Eagle 135" Mauser magazines. The gun has retained nearly all of its original bluing. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some minor spotty oxidation on the front strap and on the barrel. A couple of very light surface scratches on the left side of the gun. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips. The bore is mostly shiny with great rifling and just some minor freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
