3/12/25 - This is an early commercial Krieghoff, likely made in about 1936. It has the P prefix on the frame indicating it was issued as a "Private" sale. It has Crown N proofs and a commercial "star" on the right side of the receiver. Most notable is the extended 6" barrel. Chambered in .30 Luger. The gun does appear to be refinished. There is some finish loss on the end of the barrel, probably from poor metal prep during the bluing process. The straw coloring on the small parts are generally faded. All numbered parts are matching however, with commercial Krieghoff many times the parts are not numbered. For example, the barrel is not numbered but has both the crown/N proof as well as a small Krieghoff proof. The magazine is not numbered or proofed in any way. It comes with period correct reddish grips. The factory address of Suhl is inscribed on the back of the frame.
