11/19/24 - This is a very nice example of a scarce Russian SVT-40. Made in 1940 at the Tula factory, it's mismatched throughout but not a refurbished or import marked example. The receiver and magazine are 'SA' marked, indicating Finnish capture. Not much bluing loss on the metal parts, but there are some tiny handling marks here and there and some light pin-pricking along the barrel. No major damage to the wood, but it shows the typical signs of wear and tear. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking and frosting throughout.
