10/1/24 - This is a very nice example of a Steyr Hahn Model 1912 issued to the Austria-Hungarian military during WW1, in 1918. The gun is all matching, is dated 1918, and has the proper Austrian military acceptance proof on the right side of the trigger guard. There is no "08" on the left side of the slide, indicating that it was not converted to 9mm and is therefore still chambered in 9mm Steyr. It comes as a rig with 1916-dated pigskin holster. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also general high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. Excellent, shiny bore.
