10/1/24 - This is an original Smith and Wesson Victory revolver, issued to the US Naval Aviation during WW2. The left side of the frame says "Property of US Navy". It comes as a rig with a scarce US Navy marked, 1944-dated leather shoulder holster. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original parkerized finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some minor discoloration along the barrel and on the cylinder. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. No visible numbering on the wood grips. Mint bore.
