10/1/24 - This is an RZM marked Walther PPK from 1934-35. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This one is all matching and has retained about 96% of its high polish finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation throughout and areas of pitting - most obvious along the whole right side of the slide. Fitted with a brown Walther grip (small chip along the top edge of the left side) and comes with a period-correct Walther banner-only finger extension magazine. Minty bore.
