6/6/24 - This is a nice example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All matching with the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. The gun's original finish rates somewhere between 85-90% with general high edge wear and thinning on the front strap. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is minor pitting on both sides of the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips and comes with an "Eagle 359" Walther magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
