6/5/23 - This is a nice example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with an "Eagle 135" marked Mauser magazine, an "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine, and a nice reproduction holster. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap and along the barrel. There is also general minor high edge wear. Fitted with nice black plastic grips - the left side is slightly shaved and the initials "CA" are lightly scratched into it. The bore has great rifling, but there is very light pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
