6/5/23 - This is a nice example of a BYF 42 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. It comes with a set of original black bakelite "Black Widow" grips and comes as a rig with a nice 1942-dated holster, an "Eagle 655" Luger tool, and two original Black Widow magazines. The gun itself has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle, side plate, and high edges in general. Areas of noticeable thinning along the barrel, on both grip straps, and along the top and right side of the slide. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
