9/8/23 - This is an excellent and original Mauser P.38 from February of 1945. While the slide is dated to 1944, these dual-tone pistols weren't assembled until later. This one has a blued barrel with phosphate frame, slide and small parts. There is minimal finish loss on the pistol, just a bit of muzzle wear and some thinning on the front strap. The right side of the slide does have a bit of freckling on it. Mint bore. Safety works but de-cocker doesn't. Grips show minor handling wear.
