5/25/23 - This is a very nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in January of 1945. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a very nice 1944-dated soft shell holster, one jvd magazine, and one rare late-war "U" marked Walther magazine. The gun itself has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish with the majority of finish loss on the front strap. Very minor wear around the muzzle and on some of the high edges of the slide. A small area of minor casting flaws on the right side of the frame, typical for these end-of-war guns. Fitted with excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. The bore has great rifling, but there is light freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
