3/21/23 - This is a nice Mauser Model 1914 sold in the commercial market in the 1920's. It is all matching and has the proper "Double Crown U" proofs. It has retained roughly 90% of its finish. There is obvious finish loss on the front strap where there is spotty oxidation. Minor wear around the muzzle and around the tang. It looks liek there was some pinkish paint on the front sight that has mostly been cleaned off. Nice period-correct wood grip with a few dings on the bottom left edge. Comes with one proper magazine. The bore has strong rifling with very minor freckling in the grooves.
