3/17/23 - This is a very rare and original P.38 made in 1963 under contract with Norway. The pistol has a Norwegian shield stamped onto the slide along with the last three digits of the serial. There are only an estimated ~25-50 of these in the US, as most are still in Norway. It comes with a black leather holster, a period-correct box (not numbered), test target (not matching), owners manual, one magazine, and a cleaning rod. This particular gun is listed by serial number in the "Magazine Spotters Guide to P.38 Pistols" book by Per Mathisen. This listing includes a copy of this book. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its finish with some light scuffs and handling marks here and there. Excellent black plastic grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
