3/17/23 - This is a minty example of a very rare "Zero Series" Walther P.38, manufactured in 1945. They are called a zero series because the serial numbers start with a zero. Only 1,750 of these were produced according to Whittington's book. This one is all matching and has "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 97% of its late-war finish. Hints of wear on the high edges and very minor thinning on the front strap. Excellent reddish particle bakelite grips. Comes with a rare late-war "U" marked Walther magazine. The bore is like-new. De-cocker is functional.
