3/21/23 - This is a very nice example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All matching with the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. The frame has a plum hue to it. Very minor high edge wear and some minor thinning along the barrel and on the front strap. A few small dots of oxidation on the left side of the barrel. Excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with a period-correct jvd magazine. The bore has strong rifling with very minor pin-pricking in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
