5/11/23 - This is a nice example of a Springfield M1 Garand issued to the US military during WW2. The receiver dates to 1943. The barrel is Springfield marked and dated July of 1943. Proper SA internal parts. The stock has the proper SA inspection stamp and cross-canon military cartouches. The metal parts have been refinished, so there is very little actual finish loss. There is just some minor muzzle wear and some areas of tiny pin-pricking under the finish here and there. The wood furniture is in nice condition, but have been sanded. A series of noticeable dings in the upper handguard. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout. Muzzle reading: 1. Throat reading: 1.
