1/23/23 - This is an excellent example of an AC 43 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 96% of its bluing. Virtually all of the finish loss comes in the form of thinning on the front strap. Hints of wear on some of the high edges. One oddity with this gun is that the band around the front sight is virtually flush with the barrel. There are no obvious machine marks or evidence that it has been ground, so this is one we can't explain. In any case, it is fitted with black plastic grips - there is a hairline crack on the right side and some light scuffing on both sides. The top edges have been cut down. Comes with a period-correct "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. The bore is stone-mint. De-cocker is functional.
