1/24/23 - This is a very nice example of a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs. It has retained about 95% of its original finish with areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the side rails, and on the left side of the chamber. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is brown patina on the grip straps and light spotty oxidation throughout. Fitted with wood grips - the left grip appears to have an "8" on it, the right panel appears to be un-numbered. Comes with a blank wood-bottom magazine with a repaired crack in the base. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout.
