1/24/23 - This is a very nice, all original 1906 DWM American Eagle Luger, chambered in .30 Luger. These pistols went to the US retail market and the manufacturers at DWM realized that nation-based crests increased sales of these Lugers, so that is why you find the American Eagle over the chamber. This is also why you see GERMANY marked on the frame, denoting these were exported for commercial sale. This particular gun has retained about 94% of its original bluing. There is wear around the muzzle and high edges in general. Light spotty wear along the barrel. A couple of small spots of wear at the base of the front strap. Areas of very minor pin-pricking on the right side of the slide, frame, and barrel. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips and a properly-blank wood bottom magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
