1/24/23 - This is a fairly early example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in February of 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 85% of its bluing. There is spotty wear along the barrel and on the left side of the slide. Light spotty oxidation throughout. A small area of very minor pitting on the front left of the slide. Heavy brown patina on the front strap. Comes with nice reddish bakelite grips and a period-correct P.38v magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is not functional.
