12/1/22 - This is a very nice example of a first variation Walther Model 9, manufactured between 1921-24 and chambered in 6.35mm. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a period-correct leather holster and two proper magazines - not Walther marked on the bottom. The gun itself has retained about 92% of its original high polish finish. There is minor wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. There is light freckling on both grip straps and a few tiny dots of discoloration on the right side of the slide, near the muzzle. Comes with excellent period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout.
