11/22/22 - This is a stunning example of an all matching and original Mauser P.38 with phosphate finish on slide and frame. It has a blued barrel and rear sight, creating the "dual-tone" look that collectors like. Krutzek's P.38 book estimates 18,000 were produced, and while the slide has a '44 date, many were completed several months into 1945. They have a rougher, sometimes "splotchy" finish but this one shows almost no wear. There are just hints of wear around the muzzle and very front edges of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct black plastic Mauser grips and one P.38v magazine. The bore is factory-new. De-cocker is functional.
