11/22/22 - This is a very nice example of a Walther PP manufactured at the end of the war in 1945. This is a GI mismatched gun put together by an American GI at the very end of the war. It has no proof marks, indicating it was never issued and never made it out of the Walther factory. It properly has no slide legend and has an "ac" Walther factory code on the right side of the slide. It has retained somewhere between 85 and 90% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on both grip straps where there is also light brown patina. Minor wear around the muzzle and very light wear along the high edges of the slide. A few very light scratches along the slide here and there as well. Also comes with period-correct end-of-war wood grips and a rare late-war "w"-marked magazine. Minty bore.
