11/22/22 - This is a very nice example of an Inland M1 Carbine issued to the US military in late 1942. The barrel is Inland marked and dated October of 1942. It looks like there was a bayonet lug on the barrel that has been removed. The stock is marked "FSG" in the sling well. Comes with one proper magazine, an oiler, and a green canvas sling. The gun has retained about 90% of its finish. There is just minor muzzle wear and finish loss on the barrel where the bayonet lug was. Some light spotty discoloration on the receiver. Very nice wood stock with no major damage, but there are tiny dings and handling marks throughout. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
