10/4/22 - This is a minty example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is "United States Property" marked, has the proper cross-canon military cartouche, and has the proper "GHD" inspector initials. The slide is numbered and matching, and the gun comes with a proper "large G" marked Colt barrel. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its original finish with minor wear on the high edges of the slide and very minor thinning on the front strap. Comes with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips and one magazine. The bore is mint.
