9/26/22 - This is a nice example of an early Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German Army in 1912. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial military and Erfurt proofs throughout. It also has a desirable "9.R.M.G.8." machine gun unit marking on the front strap. No stock lug. Added hold-open. It has retained roughly 90% of its original finish. There is thinning on both grip straps and minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Some spotty wear along the barrel. There are areas of spotty oxidation on the grip straps, side plate, side rails, and along the barrel. An area of minor pitting around the muzzle. Comes with Imperial-proofed grips that are not matching to the gun - Noticeable crack on the right side. Also comes with a non-matching magazine. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.
