8/15/22 - This is a nice example of a rare "36 Code" Krieghoff Luger issued to the Luftwaffe in 1936. Only about 500 of this variation were ever produced. This one is all matching and has the proper "Eagle L2" Krieghoff proofs throughout. It has retained about 90% of its original finish. The most noticeable finish loss is on the side plate (where there is also some minor pitting), but there are areas of spotty discoloration and pin-pricking on the top of the receiver, on the toggle, and along the whole barrel. It comes with period-correct reddish bakelite Krieghoff grips (some tiny chips along the edge of the left panel) and an "Eagle 6" marked Simson magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and some light freckling throughout.
