8/15/22 - This is an excellent example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. There is an "asterisk" marking on the left side of the barrel, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. It has retained about 96% of its original bluing. The frame has a slight plumb color. Nearly all of the wear is on the front strap, so the profile views are minty. It comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips and two period-correct magazines - one is Walther and one is Mauser. The bore is near-mint. De-cocker is functional.
