8/2/22 - This is a nice example of a Smith & Wesson Victory Revolver issued to the US Navy during WW2. It is matching and has the proper "US Navy" marking on the top strap. It comes as a rig with a nice 1943-dated Navy-marked shoulder holster. We believe the gun was arsenal refurbished at some point, and there is an electo-penciled number on the left side of the frame. Minor wear around the muzzle and high edges of the cylinder. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is noticeable brown patina covering the whole gun. Comes with slightly worn wood grips. The right panel is numbered and matching. There is a repaired crack on the inside of the left grip. The bore is mint. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
