7/17/22 - This is a nice example of a rare 9mm Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1939-40. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. Overall, it has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The finish loss is most noticeable on the left side of the slide and on the grip straps, but there are areas of spotty/scratchy wear and discoloration throughout. Mostly concentrated around the high edges. Comes with nice black plastic grips (a little worn on the left side) and a period-correct 9mm magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling. Test proof on barrel is peened out.
