5/26/22 - This is a minty example of a Walther P1 manufactured in September of 1964. It is all matching and has the proper West German proofs throughout. Import mark on the right side of the slide. There is a "BW" marking on the left side of the frame for Bundeswehr or German military. There is a "536" number on the left side of the frame, which we assume to be a unit or rack number. It comes as a rig with a nice 1963-dated P.38 holster (gun fits well), a P.38 magazine (works well in the gun), and a proper P1 magazine. The gun itself has retained about 98% of its original finish with just a small spot of wear along the front edge of the frame and some very light scuffs here and there. Comes with a nice set of black plastic grips - a couple of scratches. The bore is near-mint. De-cocker is functional. The front sight blade is painted white.
