6/1/22 - This is a rare early Walther P.38, marked and known as the Mod HP or M/39, that was part of the second Swedish contract order for these pistols. There were only about 500 of this variant produced, all in April of 1940. This one is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. However, the hammer and slide release lever are waffen-proofed and were therefore replaced. It has retained about 96-97% of its original high polish finish. There is very minor muzzle wear and minor wear around the high edges of the slide. Tiny scratches along the whole right side of the slide. Comes with replacement checkered wood grips and a waffen-proofed Walther magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional. Rear sight is painted red.
