5/12/22 - This is a very nice example of an early Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1930. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. There is also a letter "J" and what appears to be the crest of the German state of Schleswig-Holstein on the left side of the frame - the "J" apparently stands for "Justizbehörden" or the local legal authorities. This is a post-war marking. It has all of the proper early features such as a 90 degree safety, enclosed firing pin, extended barrel, early "X" back grips, a heavy hammer, and a "reversed" serial number. It has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. There is minor muzzle wear, minor thinning on the grip straps, some light scratchy wear on the left side of the slide, and some minor spotty wear along the right side. Comes with a period-correct Walther banner-only magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
