4/3/19 - This is a Nazi issued K98 from 1944, made by Waffenwerke Bruenn AG at the Brno factory in Czechoslovakia. The rifle features all original but mismatched parts, but the Nazi markings have all been peened off of the rifle on various metal parts. The stock is in very good condition with no major cracks or chips, though there is a minor surface crack on the left side near the disc. Metal finish shows uniform thinning and patina but no major areas of wear aside from the buttplate. Bore shows some use and frost but has strong rifling and should shoot accurately. Small import mark under the barrel. Sling is present but is not an original K98 sling.
