3/31/22 - This is a very nice example of a Peruvian-contract Mauser Model 1909 rifle, manufactured between 1910-1914. The gun is almost completely matching (including stock, rear sight, and trigger assembly screws) except for the bolt assembly. It has the proper Peruvian crest on the receiver. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There is no finish and tiny dots on the receiver. Scratchy wear on the barrel bands and minor freckling on the floor plate. Some parts still have their original fire-blue finish, such as the bolt release, some of the screws, and barrel bands. The stock is numbered to match the gun and has a Mauser banner on the right side of the butt stock. Minor bruising and scratching here and there. Comes with a cleaning rod and period-correct leather sling. Minty bore.
