3/23/2023 - This is a 1942 Winchester M1 Garand. The receiver dates to July of 1942, and the barrel was replaced by Springfield in 1951. The left side of the barrel has Springfield military cartouches. There is almost no actual finish loss on the metal parts, but there is some minor pitting under the finish on the receiver. The stock is very nice, but it has been lightly sanded. The color of the stock and handguards do not match. Bore is perfect. Muzzle and throat reading are both 0.
