10/1/18 - This is a fairly early and scarce 1942 dated Hi Power holster. Most hi power holsters found today are 1943 or 1944 dated. This holster is dated under the closure strap along with an "epf" maker stamp and waffen WaA195 proof stamp. The dark brown leather has some wrinkling and scuffing by the toe, along with normal surface wear (signs of use and aging) throughout the leather. The stitching is in tact except on the belt loop, where the top portion has been replaced (looks like it could be a field repair). Overall this is an affordable piece that shows honest wear and use.
