5/9/19 - This is a very nice example of a complete, as-issued, Colt 1911A1 rig from 1942. The pistol is correct and original, and accompanied by 1942 dated holster, 1942 dated belt, original first aid kit, original magazine pouch and two spare magazines. The pistol retains 93-95% original finish, with only minor holster wear as far as finish loss goes, but some browning to the finish overall. The slide is matching numbered to the frame, and the proper Colt barrel with large 'G' proof is present. Bore is near mint, and sharp original grips. Two magazines are 'L' marked on the toe, and the third is 'S' proofed. Holster was made by Sears and features GI medallion on flap. The belt and pouches are in very good condition, as is the first aid kit. WB inspector proof on frame of pistol.
